If you'll fly, then fly into Penang Island airport. The management at Sasanarakkha Buddhist Sanctuary suggests flying into Penang International Airport (on the island), then taking a taxi to the foothills of SBS. The taxi ride should be no longer than 1 hour 15 minutes. Taxi fare should be about 40 RM.
